The sunset on the return was the cherry on top, and I love that they sent us photos of the wildlife we saw that day!
The crew was knowledgable and friendly, happy to answer questions and take their time to make sure we all got to see the orcas for as long as possible. I wish I had brought binoculars! It's also pretty incredible that the crew found the whales by sight alone (no sonar or tracking).
Overall, a wonderful afternoon that flew by! Wish we could have spent just a FEW more minutes, since it is listed as a sunset tour and we had arrived back at Granville Island by the time the sun was actually setting. I imagine that if you take this tour even earlier in the summer, there's virtually no way you will actually get to experience the sunset on the water. Still, it was a great tour and I would highly recommend!
